MACON, Ga. – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team resides in fifth place at the inaugural Brickyard Invitational hosted by Mercer University at the par 72, 7,155 yard Brickyard at Riverside course. The Eagles turned in an 36-hole team score of 578 (285-293) while No. 11 Georgia is atop the leader board after the second day of competition with a 551 (278-273).

Senior Graham Hill (Brights Grove, Ontario-Northern Collegiate (Indiana (Pa.)) is tied for sixth place with an five-under 139 (70-69). Junior Christopher Ross (Dundas, Ontario-Parkside) and sophomore Cam Burke (Baden, Ontario-Waterloo Secondary) are tied for 40th place with a 147. Redshirt freshman Brad Larente (Cambridge, Ontario-Hespeler Secondary) shot a 149 (78-71) for a 44th place tie and sophomore Brandon Lemons (Portage, Mich.-Portage Central) is tied for 61st with a 155 (74-81).
Georgia's Brian Harman is in individual leader with a 10-under 134 (68-66), two strokes ahead of teammate and first day leader Harris English.
The Brickyard Invitational concludes Tuesday, Oct. 9, with the final 18 holes beginning at 10 a.m.
