NIU snaps EMU's six-game unbeaten streak
DeKALB, Ill. — The Eastern Michigan University women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the Northern Illinois University Huskies. The loss snapped the Eagles’ six game unbeaten streak.
With the loss, the Eagles drop to 7-6-4 (5-3-2 MAC), while the Huskies improve to 8-5-4 (5-3-2 MAC).
The game was a defensive struggle, as neither team would score in the first half. Freshman goalkeeper Maggie Manville recorded three saves in the first half to help keep the Huskies off the board.
