OXFORD, Ohio – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision (13-30, 30-26, 27-30, 18-30) to Mid-American Conference East Division co-leader Miami University here Friday night at Millett Hall. The RedHakws (9-7; 6-1 MAC) had four players collect double-digit kills and three players notch 20-plus digs, while the Eagles (13-9; 3-4 MAC) hit .089 for the match.  

Senior Becky Reenders led Eastern with 14 kills, 11 total blocks and a .316 attack percentage while sister Abby Reenders posted a double-double with 11 kills and 21 dig. Senior Katie Bates and sophomore Victoria Randolph also turned in nine kills a piece.

Carli Reihman collected a double-double of the season with a season-best 18 kills and a season-high 22 digs. Sophomore Megan Griffin also tallied 16 kills and junior libero Melissa Zenz posted a season-high 27 digs.

Eastern Michigan continues play against East Division opposition Saturday, Oct. 13, against Bowling Green State University. First serve is set for 3 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
