KALAMAZOO
, Mich. - The Eastern Michigan University women’s cross country team tallied 65 points and finished third place out of four teams here Friday at the Bronco Invitational.

For the third straight week, junior Kalli Williams (Dexter, Mich.-Dexter) was the Eagles’ top overall finisher. Unlike the last two meets, however (where she placed second both times), Williams claimed first place with a time of 18:04 in the 5k. With that time, she finished a half minute better that the second place contender, Sarah Kehe from Ball State University.

Other Eastern Michigan Top-25 finishers inculde senior Consolata Kisang (Eldoret, Kenya- Moi University) who finished 15th with a time of 19:29 and freshman Angela Martinez (Milan, Mich.- Milan) placed 18th with a time of 19:44

The Eagles next meet is Friday, October 6 at the Michigan Intercollegiate in Big Rapids, Mich. That meet will begin at 4 p.m.
