CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team fell to the University of Iowa, 3-1 (30-26, 19-30, 25-30, 27-30),  in the second match of the 2006 College of Charleston Invitational Friday, Sept. 16, here at John Kresse Arena in Charleston, S.C.
 
With the victory the Hawkeyes improve to 10-1 on the year while the Eagles fall to 4-5.
 
Junior middle blocker Becky Reenders led the way with a career-best 21 kills and a .350 attack percentage, while senior middle blocker Lindsay Piccolini tallied 13 kills and a block assist.  Junior setter Kate Sulewski added 51 assists while senior libero Ashley Cudney posted 29 digs in the setback. 
 
In the Eagles' second game of the day; they face Columbia at 5 p.m.
