CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team evened its record at 4-4 with a four-game victory over the College of Charleston in the opener of the CofC Invitational Friday, Sept. 15, here at John Kresse Arena.
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team evened its record at 4-4 with a four-game victory over the College of Charleston in the opener of the CofC Invitational Friday, Sept. 15, here at John Kresse Arena.
The Eagles defeated the Cougars 30-26, 20-27, 21-30, 30-20 with junior setter Kate Sulewski posting a team-high .500 hitting percentage and notching a double-double with 41 assists and 10 digs. Senior libero Ashley Cudney added a team-high 26 digs for EMU.
The Eagles will face Iowa at noon Saturday, Sept. 16, and will wrap up the tournament with Columbia at 5 p.m.
