Women's Soccer Falls on Senior Day, 2-1

The EMU women’s soccer team lost 2-1 in a tough conference match on Senior Day against Bowling Green at Scicluna Field, Oct. 23. The Eagles applied pressure but ricocheted two shots off the cross bar and one off the goal post. Bowling Green took advantage scoring their first goal at the 66:08 mark of the second half and added another on a penalty kick at the 85:47 mark for a 2-0 lead. Senior Trisha Roberts scored her second goal of the season to pull EMU within one, 2-1, but the Eagles were unable to tie the score as time expired.
