Stacie McMullen is in her fifth year as the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations after joining the department in 2022.
No stranger to the Eastern Michigan campus, McMullen joined the President’s Office in 2014 and worked there for four years before shifting over to athletics.
In her role, she formulates, distributes, and oversee athletic team budgets, including purchase approvals in compliance with NCAA audit procedures. A liaison to the University business affairs office, McMullen is also responsible for the EADA and NCAA business reports.
Before joining the University, McMullen worked from 1999-2014 in Student Support Services at Britton Deerfield School District in Lenawee County.
Additionally, she worked as a cost accountant at La-Z-Boy Incorporated (1998-99) as well for the United States Air Force Avionic System (1989-93).
McMullen earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Eastern New Mexico University in 1998, in addition to her master’s degree in business administration from EMU in 2016.
She and her husband, Doug, have two daughters, Sydne and Tayler.
