Additionally, Eastern got off to a 5-1 start in conference play for the first time since 2018, capped by a thrilling five-set win on the road over eventual MAC Regular Season Champions, Bowling Green, Oct. 10.
Overseeing the Eagles liberos and defensive specialist, the group was led by libero Hannah Blaney who was named MAC Defensive Player of the Week nod, Sept. 30 after grabbing 50 digs, averaging 6.25 per set, including a career-best 27-dig outing. At the time, Blaney stood second in the MAC with 258 total digs, a mark that ranked her 12th in the nation, while the Eagles as a team slotted 21st in the country in digs. She ended the season fifth in the conference, posting 4.13 per set and fourth in total digs with 504.
A standout on the court, Dahn joined Head Coach Kevin Foeman after playing under his guidance at Ashland University for four years as a defensive specialist and libero. During her time as an Ashland Eagle, she was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence, GMAC All-Academic Excellence, and was a three-time Division Champion.
In her final season with the Eagles, she finished her playing stint with 434 total digs, 60 assists, and 28 serving aces in a total 48 matches and 148 sets played.
Along with coaching volleyball, Dahn is also very passionate about mental performance coaching by working with athletes to build confidence, coping strategies and emotional control, with the goal of making them the strongest all-around athlete that they can be. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
A graduate of Ashland University, Dahn holds her bachelor's degree in Sciences (2022).
