Andrew Wentz returned to his alma mater as an assistant sports performance coach in the spring of 2024. Wentz works directly with the women's lacrosse, volleyball, and rowing teams.
Prior to Eastern Michigan, Wentz was an assistant sports performance coach at High Point University where he oversaw strength and conditioning for men's lacrosse, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. While at High Point he assisted in bringing regular season and tournament championships to the volleyball and soccer teams.
Wentz started his career with stops at Southern University and University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Masters of Science in Physiology and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University.
Wentz is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA as well as a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the CSCCa.
