Shawn McCall is entering his first season as Graduate Manager in the 2025-2026 academic year. 

McCall assists with scouting reports, video, and travel and operations for EMU's Basketball Team. 

McCall served as a member of the men's basketball team at Bridgewater State, Bridgewater, Mass., from 2020-2021 along side Head Coach Joe Farroba

After his first year at Bridgewater, he transferred to Lesley University, Boston, Mass., from 2021-2024 under Head Coach Devon Mayo. McCall was honored as a member of the Student-Athlete advisory Commitee (SAAC) in 2022-2023, and was name team captain in his final season in 2023-2024. During his senior year, he played in 21 games posting a career-high of 13 points in his first start with the team along with securing three rebounds on Feb. 3, 2024, against VTSU Lyndon. McCall finished the season with 29 points, 11 rebounds, six steals, three assists and one block.

McCall later took on an internship role at Brown University, Providence, R.I., during the summer through July and August of 2023. He assisted the Director of Basketball Operations with setting up for the elite camp, registration, and planning for the teams trip to France. 

After his time at Brown, McCall was hired in as the Assistant Men's Basketball coach at Emmanuel College, Boston, Mass., in 2024-2025. McCall assisted in scouting reports, recruiting, and player development along with having responsibilities of organizing the 2025-2026 non-conference schedule for the team. 

McCall's father, Kris McCall, was a standout defensive back at the University of Connecticut in the 1990s, and is currently the head coach at Classical High in Providence, R.I. McCall also has two sisters, Maia and Margo.
