Joining the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team prior to the 2015-16 campaign as a graduate assistant is Ebony Heckstall. Heckstall comes to EMU following her work as an exercise phisiologist in cardio and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Pursuing her second master's degree, Heckstall has already earned her bachelor's and master's degrees, both from Syracuse University in exercise science. From 2009-13, she worked as a graduate assistant at SU, while also interning with the Orange's strength and conditioning department during the same timeframe. In addition, Heckstall was a track and field student-athlete at Syracuse from 2004-08.
