Brad Showalter was elevated to the role of Video Coordinator prior to the 2018-19 season after spending two years as Eastern's graduate assistant. Showalter has been with the EMU program since 2013 when he served as a student manager from 2013-16. In that role, Showalter assisted with any needs from the coaching staff, student-athletes, and other staff members. This included organizing and operating the film operations, as well as assisting in editing the game film. He also worked directly with the Director of Basketball Operations to assist with travel plans, meal preparations, hotel arrangements, and transportation. As a GA, Showalter has assisted the coaching staff with scouting reports, helped operate the basketball team’s social media accounts, and has overseen the student manager staff. Showalter is a 2016 graduate of EMU with his degree in sport management, and a 2018 Eastern grad with a master's degree in sport management.
