Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in collegiate athletics and the programs at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan are partnering to do their part to increase access to the sport of lacrosse by bringing the game to the City of Detroit.

The Eagles and nationally-ranked Wolverines will face one another Wednesday, April 3, at Martin Luther King High School with the opening draw scheduled for 3 p.m. Admission into the stadium and parking around the facility are both free for all fans.

Following the game, fans will be invited to meet with both teams on the field while girls and boys, ages eighth grade and younger, can take part in a throw around with the players. Sticks and balls will provided and no prior lacrosse knowledge is needed!
