The sport of rowing has been available at EMU since 2001. We are so proud of the team's recent momentum, placing among the top three in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), and soon competing among the top 20 teams nationally. Our squad size has grown to over 60 women, consisting of athletes who both rowed and coxed before college and those who started their career right here at EMU. We are proud of our student-athletes academic accolades and success both on and off the water. We have had athletes selected for the World University Championship and compete at the international level. Our team is also passionate about community service. In the past we have volunteered at the Special Olympics of Michigan Kayaking Event, teamed up with the University of Alabama for service projects, read to young students in the community, and more. We are looking forward to earning our first conference championship with athletes like yourself to help us accomplish that goal.
