Eastern Michigan Athletics
Education Program
The Eastern Michigan University Athletic Training Program is committed to distinguishing itself as a comprehensive allied health program. This entry-level Master’s program has a strong scientific foundation and is designed to foster critical thinking relative to injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation.
The mission of the Eastern Michigan Athletic Training Program is to develop Athletic Training professionals through outstanding didactic and clinical instruction. The didactic component of the program is designed to provide students with the knowledge necessary to serve as an effective member of the allied health community. The clinical component of the program provides an atmosphere where students are able to continue their learning in a practical-based environment. This environment will afford the student the opportunity to engage in directed practice and skill applications.
Ultimately, the program works to develop globally aware and intellectually competent allied health care professionals by providing experiences in a practical-based environment with an emphasis in evidence-based medicine.
