Bowl Game Information

Bowl Selections to be announced on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011
Once an invitation is extended to Eastern Michigan University, EMU will receive a large allotment of tickets to satisfy fans. PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM OTHER OUTLETS. The following are reasons why EMU fans should purchase bowl tickets through our ticket office:
•Establish a Bowl History: shows future bowls how well the Eagles travel to bowl games.
•Covers Bowl Expenses: revenue generated through tickets sold directly by the University will be used by EMU to offset Bowl Game expenses.
•Best Seats Available: our Ticket Office will be selling the best tickets available along the Eagles' sideline. Obviously, this will give you the ability to sit with fellow EMU fans.
More ticket information will be determined following bowl selections.
Mid-American Conference Bowl Game Affiliations
The MAC’s three (3) primary bowl agreements are with the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (Ford Field/Detroit), GoDaddy.com Bowl (Mobile, Ala.) and Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (Boise, Idaho). The GoDaddy.com Bowl will have the MAC’s No. 1 selection in 2011; Little Caesars Pizza Bowl will own the MAC’s No. 2 selection; and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will own the MAC’s No. 3 selection of bowl eligible teams.
Also, the MAC has secured secondary agreements through the 2013 football season with the BBVA Compass Bowl (Birmingham, Ala.), New Mexico Bowl (Albuquerque, NM), Beef O’ Brady’s St. Petersburg Bowl (St. Petersburg, Fla.), TicketCity Bowl (Dallas, Texas) and Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl (San Francisco, Calif.).
The MAC’s No. 4 selection could play in any of the following games through 2013 – Birmingham, New Mexico or St. Petersburg, while the No. 5 selection could play in San Francisco in 2011 (vs. the Pac-12) and Dallas in 2012 (vs. the Big Ten or Big 12).
