Who can participate in the Eagle Rewards Program?
Anyone who is registered through Eastern Michigan University as an enrolled student, or any member of the EMU faculty or staff can participate.
How do I get started with the rewards program?
All participants must register online or on-site at designated Rewards events. To register online, please do so by visiting the Registration link above. In order to register on-site, you must present your EID.
What if I forget my card for an event?
Participants must have their EID in order to receive points for attending an event. No EID = no points for that event.
What if I forget to get my EID swiped at an event?
Unfortunately if you forget to have your EID swiped, you cannot receive those points later on.
What if I attend the event but do not get my card swiped during the designated swipe time?
In order to receive points, all participants must have their card swiped during the designated swipe time. To learn when the designated swipe time is for each event, please visit the Rules and Regulations page.
What if I lost my EID?
You will have to go to the EagleOne card office located in the Student Center before you can resume earning more points.
When can I get my prizes?
Prizes will be redeemed at designated Rewards Distribution days. These events will be posted on the Points and Rewards page, as well as updated on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Will my points from this year carry over to next year?
No, points do not carry over from year to year. Everyone starts the year with zero (0) points.
How will I know when events are?
It is recommended that all participants visit the Events page frequently for a list of upcoming events in which points can be earned. Information will also be distributed through the Rewards Facebook and twitter pages.
Does the rewards program cost anything?
No, it is completely free to join.
What prizes can I win?
There are numerous prizes that you can win by becoming a member. Check out the Points and Rewards page for specifics.
Since I am an incoming freshman, is there anything special I have to do in order to join?
No, simply register and start accumulating points and prizes just like everyone else!
What if I don’t have a car to get to athletic events?
There are free shuttle buses for students to all home football games and select home basketball games during the year. We also recommend using the Facebook and twitter pages as resources to form carpooling networks with fellow Rewards participants.
