Registration Limited to the first 2,500 participants
In order for the Eagle Rewards Program to run successfully in its inaugural year, all participants must abide by the following set of rules and regulations. EMU Athletics has the right to suspend or rescind the membership of any participant who violates these rules.
Membership
- All participants of the Rewards Program must be a registered EMU student or a member of the EMU faculty or staff.
- If there is a question regarding your enrollment status as a student please contact Records and Registration before contacting EMU Athletics.
- If there is a question regarding your employment status with the University, please contact Human Resources before contacting EMU Athletics.
- All participants must register online in order to be considered a valid member. Click Here to register.
- Only the first 2,500 to register will be eligible for the rewards program
· All participants agree to allow the EMU Athletics Marketing department to publish their name on the program’s website.
Points
- All members will receive 1 bonus point simply by registering. Click Here to register.
· In order to receive points for attending, participants must register before OR at the event. Points will not be awarded for those who may have attended the event but did not register until a later time.
· Individual point totals are cumulative for the 2010-11 academic year. Point totals will not carry over to the next year.
· Participants who are competing or working at an event are NOT eligible to earn points for that event.
· Point totals will be posted as soon as possible following the event. Participants who feel they have a discrepancy with their point will be asked to submit a formal request here explaining their opinion.
Rewards
· Tiebreakers for the top positions will be determined by those who attended the most highly valued athletic events (i.e. Men’s Swimming, Women’s Swimming, Tennis, Soccer, Men’s Track and Field, and Women’s Track and Field) throughout the season.
· EMU Athletics Marketing reserves the right to rescind any applicable prizes in the event that an ID is not presented or deemed to be fraudulent.
· EMU Athletic Department employees and immediate family are not eligible for the top ten prizes or the grand prize.
· All rewards must be claimed by the last identified Rewards Distribution event or they will be null and void.
Events
At each scheduled event, all participants must swipe their EID at the Eagle Nation Rewards table/kiosk during the designated time in order to receive points. The designated times in which EID’s will be swiped will vary between sporting events and are subject to change:
Football: From the time gates open until the start of the 2nd quarter.
Men’s Basketball/Women’s Basketball/Soccer: From the start of halftime until the end of halftime.
Volleyball: Between games 2 and 3 of each game.
Baseball: From the start of the 6th inning until the end of the 6th inning.
Softball: From the start of the 3rd inning until the end of the 3rd inning.
- In the case of a doubleheader, EID’s will be swiped between games. A doubleheader will be considered one single event.
Gymnastics/Wrestling: From the start of the event until 1 hour into the event.
Tennis: From the end of Doubles competition until the start of singles competition.
Men’s Swimming/Women’s Swimming: From the start of the Diving portion of the competition until the end of the event.
Men’s Track & Field/Women’s Track & Field: From the start of the running events until one hour into the event.
*If you are in line to be scanned when the time you swipe expires you will still be able to earn your points for that event.
• The EMU Athletics Marketing department will designate the Reward events and point values.
• All points are subject to change.
• All times and dates are subject to change.

· Prizes will be available for pick up at the designated Reward Distribution events.
· Distribution events will be displayed on the Eagles Rewards calendar as well as publicized on the Facebook and Twitter pages.
· All participants must show their EID in order to pick-up a prize.
