EMU:  Joined the EMU progam in the summer of 2012 as a transfer from Duquesne University...Sat out the 2012-13 season due to NCAA transfer rules...2013-14: Appeared in all 37 games, starting 36 of them…Averaged 10.2 points per game, good for third on the team…Led the team in assists (132) at 3.6 per contest, ranking seventh in the Mid-American Conference…Finished fourth in the MAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.6…In MAC games he averaged 11.7 points per game, which was good for 19th in the conference…Tallied double-digit scoring efforts in 13 contests…Posted a season-best 21 points in three games, at Oakland (Dec. 21), at Central Michigan (Jan. 18) and versus Northern Illinois (March 1)…Knocked down a three-pointer with 24 seconds on the clock to give EMU a victory over NIU (March 1)…Dished out a career-best nine assists in the Eagles overtime victory at Oakland…Delivered a 10-for-12 performance from the free throw line in the Eagles victory against Buffalo that advanced EMU to the MAC Tournament semifinal for the first time 1998…Duquense:  Earned two letters for the Dukes...Averaged 7.4 points and 1.9 assists as a sophomore...Played in all 32 games with 27 starts as a freshman while averaging 6.9 points, 2.4 assists and 1.5 rebounds...Finished third on the team with 37 three-point field goals made and shot .389 from behind the arc...Hit three or more triples in five games...Scored a season’s-best 17 points in the Dukes’ opener versus Bluefield State and matched that total at Green Bay...Scored in double figures 10 times as a sophomore...High School:  Graduated from Melvindale Academy of Business and Technology where his father, Michael Talley Jr...His team won three straight Class C state championships in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...Finished his career with a 24 point career scoring average...Played for The Family AAU team...Senior Year:  Was named Class C Player of the Year by The Associated Press and was also named to The Detroit News’ Dream Team and was a Class C All-State pick by the Detroit Free Press...Averaged 26 points and eight assists...Junior Year: Averaged 25 points, nine assists and five steals while earning first-team All-West Team selection by the Detroit Free Press...Sophomore Year:  Averaged 23.5 points and six assists...
