2006-07: Basketball: Played in 25 games and started 20 times...Recorded first career and team’s second double-double over the season against Western Michigan (Feb. 22) with 11 points and 10 rebounds…Turned in a career-best 11 rebounds at home against Ball State (March 2)...Led team with 68 assists which ranked 11th in the MAC at 2.72 per game…Second on team in rebounds with 122 (91 defensive, 31 offensive) and 14th for defensive rebounds in the conference (3.64 per game)…Third on the team with 32 steals which ranked 15th in the MAC (1.28 per game)…Was EMU’s top scorer once, against WMU, and the top rebounder twice, vs. WMU and Ball State...Received the Earl Boykins Defensive Player of the Year award as the team’s top defensive player.
2005-06: Basketball: Joined the team after the football season was completed...Played wide receiver for the football squad and started all 11 games, finishing with 33 catches for 331 yards and one touchdown...Played in 17 games for the hoops squad and finished the year with a 2.0 scoring average and a 2.5 rebound mark...Turned in his best overall game when he scored nine points with eight rebounds at home against Toledo (Feb. 22)...Also scored nine points with two three-point goals at Bowling Green (Feb. 7)...One of the top defensive players on the team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Mich....Earned three varsity letters each in football and track and two in basketball...Was an All-Conference and All-Region basketball player and was an All-Conference and honorable mention All-State selection in football.
