Swim and Dive Earns 25th Scholar All-America Award from CSCAA

The Eagles earned a fall GPA of 3.66
RICHMOND, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swim and dive program was named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) 2025 Scholar All-America Team for the fall semester, the organization announced Tuesday, Jan. 20.
To qualify for the honor, teams were required to earn a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester.
The Eagles posted a 3.665 cumulative GPA for the fall semester, with 20 of the athletes attaining a 3.00 GPA or higher, and eight of the athletes earning a 4.00 GPA.
Among Division I standings, the women's teams were led by Rice University and the University of Kansas, who each earned a team GPA of 3.83.
The Mid-American Conference (MAC) also made the short list of conferences with 100 percent of their active men's or women's teams on the Scholar All-America Team list.
"The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."
