A Full Day of Action, Giveaways, and Community Spirit!
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Get ready, Eastern fans! Eastern Michigan University is hosting an electrifying day of sports with "Hats Off To You" Day on Friday, April 11. With baseball, tennis, lacrosse, and football all in action at home, this is your chance to experience EMU Athletics like never before!
The excitement begins with EMU baseball squaring off against the University of Toledo at noon inside Oestrike Stadium. At 1 p.m., EMU tennis takes on Northern Illinois University at The Chippewa Club, followed by EMU lacrosse battling the University of Oregon at Scicluna Field at 3 p.m. The day crescendos into the football spring game under the lights at Rynearson Stadium, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. All events are completely free, so bring your EMU pride and be part of the action!
To thank our incredible supporters, fans attending the baseball, tennis, and lacrosse games will receive an exclusive Block E snapback hat. But wait—if someone attends all three games, they'll be entered into a drawing for a unique Block E adidas hoodie at the spring football game.
The annual football spring game kicks off at 6:30 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. In partnership with Ypsilanti Public Schools and the EMU Bright Futures Program, EMU is hosting a book drive and invites all attendees to bring a children's book to donate. Every book collected will be donated directly to Ypsilanti Public Schools to help replenish their libraries.
After the game, fans will have the opportunity to step onto the field and meet the team for an autograph session.
