Raisa Boris Named MAC Gymnast of the Week for Second Time This Season

Boris scored 39.075 to earn fifth all-around win of the season
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University senior gymnast Raisa Boris was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week for the second time this season, the MAC office announced Tuesday, March 18.
Boris (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center), who received the honor four times in 2024, earned her fifth career honor earlier this season as she led the EMU gymnastics squad to a quad win in the Golden Girls Classic, Jan. 17, by posting a 39.075 all-around score as the Eagles' lone all-around competitor.
Boris registered her fifth all-around win of the season as EMU topped Ball State, March 14. Boris scored at least a 9.750 in every event for the second time this season, highlighted by 9.825 efforts on bars and beam. Her 9.750 on vault topped the EMU scores in the event while her 9.825 ranked second on the team to help her finish in the top six of all four events.
