Rose Kendrick Named MAC Diver of the Week

The sophomore earned her first collegiate win against Akron
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University diving student-athlete Rose Kendrick was named Mid-American Conference (MAC) Diver of the Week Tuesday, Nov. 4.
At the Eagles' meet against reigning MAC champions, University of Akron, Oct. 31, Kendrick (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva), earned her first collegiate win in the three-meter dive, with a personal best score of 265.35 points. She also notched a podium spot in the one-meter dive, earning second with another personal-best score of 245.40 points.
This is Kendrick's first time winning the award. For Head Women's Diving Coach, Tom Gimm, Kendrick marks the third time an athlete has gotten MAC Diver of the Week honors during his time with the Eagles, the first and second both being Rebekah Knapp in the 2024-25 season. Knapp earned the honor for the first time under Gimm, Oct. 23, and earned MAC Co-Diver of the Week, Nov. 27.

The Eagles will travel for the first time this season, next competing at Bowling Green State University, Friday, Nov. 7.
