Mo Habhab Named Co-MAC Player of the Week

Habhab produced one triple-double, averaging 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men's basketball redshirt freshman Mohammad Habhab has been named Co-Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career, the MAC announced Monday, Nov. 24.
Habhab (Dearborn, Mich./Dearborn/Central Michigan) shared the honor with Buffalo's Daniel Freitag.
Habhab averaged 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists over two EMU wins, shooting 15-of-23 (65.2%) across both games. The redshirt freshman's week was highlighted by a stellar showing against Oakland, Nov. 21, which included 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, marking the program's first-ever triple-double.
Habhab also produced 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the Eagles' 13-point second-half comeback win over Detroit Mercy, Nov. 18.
Eastern had five MAC Player of the Week honors during the 2024-25 season as Da'Sean Nelson earned the honor three times and Jalen Terry received it twice.
