Eastern Athletics Launches Redesigned Mobile App

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics and SIDEARM Sports are excited to unveil an upgraded version of the official Eastern Michigan Athletics mobile app, which is free and available now on iOS and Android.
The new app will serve as a dynamic hub for EMU gameday content, including ticketing, fan experiences, schedules, and more. Shortly, it also will provide fans with a customized in-venue experience.
To have continued access to digital tickets and all the latest features, current users will need to update the app on their mobile devices. Fans are invited to download or update the Eastern Michigan Athletics app now in the App Store or Google Play.
Once in the new app, fans are encouraged to re-opt in for push notifications. Eastern uses app push notifications to send out exclusive gameday updates and special messages from the Athletic Department. Fans can select the type of fan they are as well as their favorite sports to get information tailored to their interests.
The mobile app upgrade is just the start of things to come as fans will see a redesigned EMUEagles.com in the fall. The app focuses on highlighting key stories, videos, photos, and insights, telling the Eastern Athletics story in new and innovative ways from an insider's perspective. One of the biggest fan-requested updates includes the ability for video and audio playback even when switching between other apps on your device.
