Soccer Concludes 2023 Season Against Miami

Eagles drop 4-0 decision to RedHawks
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team dropped a 4-0 result to Miami Thursday, Oct. 26, at Scicluna Field as the Eagles played their final match of the 2023 season.
How It Happened
Miami scored just 33 seconds into the contest before adding a second goal in the 36th minute and a third goal in the 38th minute as the first half that saw the RedHawks hold an 8-4 advantage in shots.
EMU earned a pair of corners in the opening 3:30 but were unable to capitalize.
Junior Meagan Lukowski's (Bay City, Mich./Bay City) 73rd-minute shot rattled off the top woodwork in Eastern's best chance of the match.
Miami tallied its fourth goal in the 79th minute.
The RedHawks won the battle in shots by a 21-7 margin, and in corner kicks by a 10-3 margin.

» Eastern moved to 1-12-6 (1-8-2 MAC) on the year while Miami moved to 8-10-1 (5-6-0 MAC).
» Seniors Rebecca Przybylo (Canton, Mich./Plymouth) and Tiffanie Hollingsworth (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon East) played their final collegiate matches.
