NORMAN, Okla. (EMUEagles.com)
– The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team saw freshman Ella Chemotti (Canton, Mich.-Canton) compete on beam at the NCAA Norman Regional Thursday, March 31.

"I am extremely proud of Ella," said Head Coach Katie Minasola. "Coming into the regional championships as an individual is difficult and then she rocked a beam routine. I can't wait for more big things from Ella."

How It Happened
Chemotti rotated with Arizona State University, waiting until the third rotation of the quad meet to compete on beam. The freshman shined bright, bringing back her triple series with ease and earning 9.900, tying for second place.
