EMU Tennis Signs Vichare to Fall 2021 Roster

Prerna Vichare will join the squad from Mumbai, India
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team added another signee for the fall 2021 season, announced Head Coach Jayson Wiseman, today, March 2. Viachare will join the fall squad with Sabina Brichakova.
"We are very excited to add a player of Prerna's caliber to our program," said Wiseman. "Her proven international results and experience will be very valuable as she transitions to playing collegiate tennis. We have high expectations that she will be a major contributor, and help us in our quest to bring a MAC Championship back to EMU. Vichare is a fierce competitor that has performed at the highest levels in India and internationally and has been ranked as high as 500 in the world by the ITF. We feel as though she can come in and push our current players to be even better, as we look to build a championship caliber roster."
