Sabina Brichackova will come to Ypsilanti from Cheb, Czech Republic

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Tennis Head Coach Jayson Wiseman announced the signing of Sabina Brichackova (Cheb, Czech Republic-Gymnazium Jana Blahoslava) to the Fall 2021 roster, Thursday, Feb. 4.

"We are extremely excited to add a player of Sabina's experience and ability to our program. She has a tremendous all-court game and should contribute right away in both single and doubles," said Wiseman. "We had Sabina's name on our watch list for over a year when former Eagle Marie Mayerova contacted me about her interest in playing at EMU. From there, it was a no-brainer to bring her here. She has had great success on both the Czech and international tennis circuits, and we expect big things from her once she gets to Ypsilanti."

Brichackova will join the Green and White from TK Precheza Prerov, where she was ranked 86th nationally in her senior season under Head Coach Petr Hutka. The Czech Republic native came in third at the 2019 U18 Team National Championship.

The Green and White will be back in action Friday, Feb. 5 at the travel to the University of Dayton, with the start time set at 7 p.m. As always, to stay up to date with Eastern Michigan tennis, go to EMUEagles.com or follow us on Twitter (@EMUEaglesTennis) and Instagram (@EMU_Tennis).
