Gymnastics Announces 2022 Full Schedule

The Eagles are set to host the Mid-American Conference Championship, March 19
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team and reigning Mid-American Conference Champions announced its 2022 schedule today, Oct. 18. This season's slate will include four quad meets and the Eagles will host the MAC Championship meet, March 19, inside the Convocation Center.
Eastern Michigan starts its 2022 campaign on the road at the Iowa Quad, Jan. 8. Iowa is set to host, with Lindenwood and Wisconsin-Stout, joining Eastern. Next, the Eagles return home to welcome MAC-foe Central Michigan, Jan. 14, before heading to Illinois State, Jan. 21. The Green and White then host the EMU Quad, Jan. 28, with Ball State, Western Michigan, and Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
After the home meet, EMU heads east for a double-meet weekend, and kicks off a five-meet away stretch. The Towson Quad, Feb. 4, will feature Long Island, and Temple, as well as host-Towson. Next, the Eagles head to George Washington for another quad meet, Jan. 6, where the Colonials will open their doors to EMU, LIU, and Temple. Continuing on the road, Eastern visits Ball State, Feb. 20, then Bowling Green with Western Michigan, Feb. 26. Finally, the Green and White head to Kent State, March 6, before returning home to end the season.
Eastern comes home to the Convocation Center for Senior Night against Northern Illinois, March 13. The following weekend, March 19, Eastern Michigan hosts the conference championship meet. Pending qualification, the Eagles would compete April 2, at the NCAA Regionals, at one of six possible locations to be announced at a later date.
