225 Eagles Land on the 2020 Winter Dean’s List

62 EMU student-athletes ended the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Determined to overcome unusual circumstances, 225 Eastern Michigan University student-athletes persevered and earned a spot on the Dean's List for the winter 2020 semester.
The COVID-19 pandemic tested student-athletes as they moved to a virtual learning model midway through the semester. The Eagles prevailed as Eastern recorded a record-breaking 3.516 winter semester GPA.
Recipients of this honor are undergraduate students who carry a minimum of 10 credit hours and maintain a 3.5-or-above GPA out of a possible 4.0.
Rowing led the Eagles with 33 student-athletes making the list, followed by football (30), baseball (24), and swimming & diving (23), respectively. Out of the 16 programs, 10 tallied double-digit honorees.
Furthermore, there were 62 Eagles with a perfect 4.0 grade point average last semester, led by swimming & diving which had 10.
