Help EMU determine the winner of the inaugural "You Make the Call," Challenge
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- It's something that everyone has dreamed of; Commentating a magical sports moment and going down in history! Not everyone can be Jim Nantz or John Madden, but the Eastern Michigan University Athletic Department is offering a chance at the next best thing!
The inaugural "You Make The Call" Competition allowed any fan to record and send in an audio file with their rendition of an in-game call. One lucky winner, which will be determined via a social media vote, will be selected as the grand prize winner for the competition. The winner and a guest will be invited to a 2020 Eastern Michigan home football game, and can spend a quarter of the action in the Eastern Michigan radio booth with the WEMU Radio crew.
The EMU Athletic Media Relations Office has narrowed down the top-five selections, and now, it needs your help to determine the winner of the competition. Starting Friday, April 7, fans are encouraged to visit the official EMU Athletics Twitter and Facebook pages, view the five submissions, and vote for their favorite entry. Voting will close at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 13.
To vote on Twitter, simply "like," your favorite entry on the poll provided. On Facebook, comment with the submission number that you would like to see win.
The winner will be announced publicly following the conclusion of the voting process.
