EMU Basketball Announces Schedule Changes

The Dec. 19 game against Olivet and Dec. 22 contest versus Central Michigan will be rescheduled
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball program announced two schedule changes today, Dec. 16, due to COVID-19 protocols. The contest against Olivet College on Saturday, Dec. 19, has been rescheduled to Sunday, Dec. 27, inside the Convocation Center at 2 p.m. Additionally, the game versus in-state rival Central Michigan University on Tuesday, Dec. 22 will be pushed back to Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m.
"With the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff as our top priority, we felt the need to push back these two contests," said EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee. "The men's basketball staff and I appreciate the willingness of Olivet, CMU, and the Mid-American Conference to modify our schedule this month."
The game against the Comets will not be broadcast on television or WEMU (89.1 FM). WEMU and ESPN3 will air the game against the Chippewas. Live stats will be available for both games on EMUEagles.com and the Eastern Michigan Athletics mobile app.
