Satler Takes Home Specialist of the Week

Caitlin Satler claims award with two personal-best performances

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University freshman specialist Caitlin Satler (Orland Park, Ill.-Carl Sandburg) earned the Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Specialist of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday, Feb. 5. This is the first weekly honor for EMU this season.

Satler had two personal-best performances, one in each meet this week. Satler hit 9.875 on beam against Bowling Green State University, Jan. 31, to tie for first, and a 9.825 on floor against University of Illinois-Chicago, Feb. 3, to tie for third.
