Tennis to Hold Walk-On Tryouts

The tryout will be held at the Chippewa Club Friday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University Head Tennis Coach Jayson Wiseman has announced that walk-on tennis tryouts will take place Friday, Feb. 22, beginning at 1 p.m. To try to walk on the team, an individual must be a current Eastern Michigan student enrolled in no less than 12 hours this semester and carry at least a 2.5 GPA.
Interested players must email Head Coach Jayson Wiseman to receive the tryout paperwork, and must submit a physical from within the last 6months to Coach Wiseman by Tuesday February 19th. Coach Wiseman can be reached at jwisema7@emich.edu
All walk-on tryout participants must not only have the insurance form filled out, but must have proof of insurance as well. Participants must also have documentation for any injuries they have had and may need to have them reviewed by a physician before they are allowed to engage in any physical activity.
Players who are selected at this tryout will join the team for the remainder of this semester and will have a place on the 2019-2020 team.
