The Eastern Michigan University women's diving team closed out competition at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, March 11. Three Eagles competed for the Green and White, all falling short of a NCAA Championship qualifying mark on the 3-meter.

Sophomore Alli Shereda (Fraser, Mich.-Fraser) led the way for Eastern, turning in a prelims score of 266.70 to claim 22nd overall. Fellow sophomore Molly Miller's (Farmington Hills, Mich.-Harrison) 263.80 points ranked two spots behind Shereda, good for 24th. Finally, sophomore Emily Tubbs (Monroe, Mich.-Monroe) rounded out the Eagles taking part in the 3-meter event. Posting a score of 241.75 in prelims, Tubbs finished in 34th.

The 3-meter portion of the NCAA Zone Championships closes the book on another strong season for the Green and White divers. Collectively, the group won the 1-meter five times while notching four first-place finishes on the 3-meter springboard throughout the 2015-16 campaign.
