EMU Basketball Announces Time Changes Due to Television Selection

Men's basketball selected for BCSN broadcast moves Jan. 16 doubleheader back two hours
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN) has selected the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team's contest with Bowling Green State University scheduled Saturday, Jan. 16, as one of its wildcard games. With the selection of the game, tipoff for will move to 2 p.m.
Along with the change in game time for the EMU men's basketball team, the women's squad will shift its tip time with Kent State University back to 4:30 p.m. The doubleheader was originally scheduled slated for noon and 2:30 p.m.
The EMU men's basketball team (8-5, 0-0 MAC) begins its Mid-American Conference schedule Wednesday, Jan. 6, as it travels north to Mount Pleasant, Mich. to square off with Central Michigan University at 7 p.m. The women's squad (10-2, 1-0 MAC), which began the 2015-16 MAC slate with a 67-56 victory over the University at Buffalo, Jan. 2, continue their quest for a conference title Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Eagles will welcome the University of Akron to the Convocation Center for its second MAC tilt of the year.
