Each week two Eagles will be honored for their success on the field
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Each week, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics names the EMU Financial's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic media relations department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Brandon Nazione and women's basketball player Cha Sweeney.

Week's Achievements:
Nazione had a career best game in a victory over Detroit, Dec. 28, when he scored a career-high 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting. He also notched a career best 5 steals, while pulling down seven rebounds. He followed that up with a another stellar performance against North Florida, Jan. 2, when he recorded his third career double-double by putting in ten points and grabbing ten rebounds.
