Come Watch Big Hero 6 at The Factory on August 24

All proceeds from the event benefit the United Way of Washtenaw County
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics is inviting all fans to enjoy an evening inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium for a movie night Monday, Aug. 24. After a fan voting poll, Big Hero 6 will be shown at dusk on a 32-foot projector screen with surround sound. Gates will open at 7 p.m. with a meet-and-greet with the EMU football team before the movie starts at roughly 8:30 p.m. The family fun zone featuring inflatables will also be setup from 7-8:30 p.m.
Single attendees, as well as families will be asked for a $5 donation, which 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Washtenaw County. All seating will be on the turf and fans are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on, while furniture of any type will be prohibited. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the movie and the money raised through concession sales will also be donated.
"The United Way of Washtenaw County works every day to make sure students are ready to succeed in school and graduate on time – paving the way for future success at colleges like Eastern Michigan University. We are pleased to partner with EMU again to help local dollars change local lives," shared Pam Smith, President of the United Way of Washtenaw County. "The United Way is interested in a cradle to career continuum that helps children become life long learners that in turn, builds a stronger community. Everyone can catch the 2015 Eagles for the first time when the Green and White kicks off the season, Sept. 5, versus Old Dominion on the "EMU Gray" turf inside Rynearson Stadium. Season tickets are now on sale for the six-game home slate which includes four contests against league foes.
