The back-to-back MAC West Division champs will play nine games at Scicluna Field throughout the 2015 season

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team released its schedule for the 2015 campaign, April 13.  The back-to-back Mid-American Conference West Division Champions will play a 20-game schedule that includes one exhibition match to begin the year.  Eastern will open the regular season with five consecutive road games as EMU Head Coach Scott Hall enters his 17th season leading the program.

The Eagles will take to Scicluna Field for the first time against Oakland University in an exhibition match, Aug. 16, before hitting the road for five-straight games.  EMU begins the regular season with a trip to Ann Arbor to take on the University of Michigan Friday, Aug. 21, before traveling to Butler University for a matchup with the Bulldogs Monday, Aug. 24.  Following the season-opening games, the Green and White will then play three games in the state of Illinois against DePaul University Friday, Aug.28, Loyola University Chicago Sunday, Aug. 30, and Illinois State University Friday, Sept. 4.

EMU returns to Scicluna Field for the first time in the regular season against the University of Illinois at Chicago Sunday, Sept. 6.  After a short trip to Detroit for a matchup with the University of Detroit Mercy Thursday, Sept. 10, the Eagles return home for their final non-conference game on the schedule against the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Sunday, Sept. 20.

Mid-American Conference play begins when Coach Hall and his team travel to Ball State University Friday, Sept. 25.  Following the first road MAC contest of the year, EMU returns to Ypsilanti for three home conference games.  The Eagles battle Miami University Sunday, Sept. 27, before hosting the reigning MAC East Division champions, the University at Buffalo, Friday, Oct. 2.  The homestand concludes with a showdown against the University of Akron Sunday, Oct. 4.

Following the three-straight home games, the Eagles hit the road for four consecutive MAC contests.  EMU travels to Central Michigan University Friday, Oct. 9, before heading down to the University of Toledo for a matchup with the Rockets Sunday, Oct. 11.  The road trip concludes with visits to Ohio University Friday, Oct. 16, and Kent State University Sunday, Oct. 18.

Eastern wraps up the regular season with three MAC contests at home, beginning with Western Michigan University Friday, Oct. 23.  Following the game against the Broncos, EMU takes on Northern Illinois University on Senior Day at Scicluna Field Sunday, Oct. 25, before concluding the regular season portion of their schedule with a home match against Bowling Green State University Thursday, Oct. 29.  If EMU finishes in the conference's top-eight, it will qualify for MAC Tournament play for the fourth consecutive season under Coach Hall.  Quarterfinal action begins on Nov. 1 with the semifinals and championship game hosted by the highest remaining seed set for Nov. 6 and Nov. 8.

After losing a successful 2014 senior class, the Eagles and Coach Hall will look to carry the momentum from the previous three seasons with a new cast of players.  EMU finished last season with an overall record of 11-7-1, including a 7-4-0 mark in conference play to claim the MAC West Division title for the second straight season.
