E-Club Holds 2014 Fall Letter Jacket Ceremony

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – It is a special day for any student-athlete at Eastern Michigan University, receiving a official letterman's jacket from the E-Club Alumni Chapter, a group of former EMU varsity athletic letterwinners. That newest honor of letterman was bestowed upon 24 student-athletes for their participation in athletics this fall. The ceremony was held Wednesday night, Jan. 7, prior to the men's baksetball game at the Convocation Center.
The ceremony returned last year after a couple year hiatus to honor each first-year student-athlete with their letterman's jacket. The E-Club holds two inductions each academic year to honor student-athletes who have met the criteria to earn a letterman's jacket. A specific criteria has been developed for each sport by the head coaches and athletic department administrators.
