Coach Creighton adds four student-athletes, each playing a different position
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan Head Football Coach Chris Creighton announced the addition of four recruits to his first class as the leader of the EMU football program Thursday, April 3. Three incoming Eagles will join the team this fall coming from junior colleges around the country, while another will make the trip north after playing high school football in North Carolina.
"Beginning on February 6, we continued to work to make a really good class even better. We believe that these additions will do just that," mentioned Coach Creighton. "Our program is taking on a new identity, and it is attracting some great people and great players. We are excited about the season this fall."
The incoming recruits each bring something different to the program as the four future Eagles play different positions, including an athlete who can play multiple positions. The student-athletes hail from three different states as well: Arizona, North Carolina and Virgina.
The Eagles have been continuing spring practice and will wrap up the seasonal workouts with the annual spring game, Saturday, April 12, inside Rynearson Stadium.
