EMU Honors Academic Achievements at Annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recognized scholar student-athletes with a celebration at the EMU Student Center Monday, April 14. The banquet honors outstanding academic achievements among current EMU student-athletes.
EMU President Dr. Susan Martin and other athletic staff members were in attendance to recognize the student-athletes for their efforts in the classroom.
The Fall 2013 cumulative GPA for all student-athletes was 3.189, which ranked as the third highest in EMU history. However, the 2013 Fall semester GPA was a 3.159, the highest tally in history beating out a 3.147 GPA set in the Fall 2011 semester.
