Four changes have been made to the 2014 schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University baseball team has announced multiple changes to its 2014 schedule beginning with this weekend's series against the University of Evansville. Due to snow still on the diamond in Evansville, Ind., the Eagles and Purple Aces have cancelled their series. At this time, there are no plans to make up the games.

The Eagles' home opening series, scheduled for March 14-16, has been cancelled. Instead, the Green and White will head down to Florence, Ky. to face Northern Kentucky University in a three-game set. EMU and NKU will play a doubleheader Saturday, March 15, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Stadium starting at noon. The Eagles and Norse will wrap up the series March 16 with a first pitch set for noon.

The March 5 contest between EMU and Morehead State University that was rescheduled to March 12 has now been called up. A possible make up date is still in the works.

Finally, Eastern's April 9 game against Ohio State University has been moved up one day. First pitch from Columbus, Ohio will be at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8.
