EMU Athletics continues partnership with SIDEARM Sports
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Athletics Department, in cooperation with SIDEARM Sports, is pleased to announce today, Aug. 21, the redesign and relaunch of EMUEagles.com, the official website of EMU athletics. The partnership will continue to provide EMU fans and alumni with the most comprehensive coverage of Eastern Michigan Athletics.
The new website will contain the same content previously available to fans, but with a fresh new look and added features that will make being an Eagle fan even more enjoyable. Fans of EMU athletics can count on EMUEagles.com for their news, statistics, schedules, bios and historical information needs, while looking forward to a new viewer-friendly navigation system to go along with added video features that will showcase their favorite student-athletes and teams.
“We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with SIDEARM Sports and the opportunities going forward to provide more content and features for our fans,” EMU Assistant Director of Athletic Media Relations Greg Steiner said. "Ease of navigation was the primary emphasis we were striving for when redesigning the site. We think our fans will really enjoy the ease with which they can find the most accurate information on the internet about Eastern Michigan Athletics."
The website has been made more user-friendly and the web design was constructed in such a way that most of the information can be accessed at a single click. It also puts greater emphasis on video and prominently displays the most popular social media platforms.
The re-launch includes a sleek new design created to deliver the latest in EMU Athletics and offer engaging ways for fans to interact with all Eagles athletics programs and increased access to video, social media and EMU apparel, while continuing to deliver all the latest, news, scores and statistics on Eastern Michigan's 21 intercollegiate programs.
Popular features such as live audio and video streaming and live stats also will continue to be a regular presence on EMUEagles.com throughout the 2012-13 athletics campaign.
