YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University diver Lesley Vizurraga (Grand Rapids, Mich.- Forest Hills Central) will be competing at the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas today, March 17, through Saturday, March 19.
The senior qualified for NCAA's after showcasing her talents on both the one and three meter boards at the NCAA Zone C Championships in Columbus, Ohio last weekend.
On the one meter boards, Vizurraga placed third after tallying a score of 317.45 in the event. The Grand Rapids, Mich. native also faired well on the three meter with a 10th place total of 274.20.
Today's events are slated to kick off at 1:30 p.m. local time.
