YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com)
– Senior Monique Budani (Whitby, Ontario-Sinclair) set the all-time saves record at Eastern Michigan University in a, 3-0, setback to host Nevada in the non-conference and Wolf Pack Invitational finale at Mackay Stadium Saturday, Sept. 18.

Budani needed just eight saves entering the contest to eclipse the previous mark of 312 set by Nikki Allen ('04) and made 11 stops, giving her 315 to date. For the season, the Whitby, Ontario native has made 74 saves through nine matches, an average of 8.2 saves per match.

With the loss, EMU falls to 3-5-1 on the season while Nevada moves to 5-3-1.

After a scoreless first half, the Wolf Pack posted three goals in a span of 32 minutes with Natalie Ratnavira leading the way with two scores, giving her three goals on the season. Both goals came consecutively in the 56th and 68th minutes with Kori Disarunfino adding one more for good measure in the 77th minute.

Chelsea Detrick (Grosse Pointe, Mich.-North) recorded three shots to lead the Green and White, putting two on goal as the Eagles were outshot 23-8 in the match. It was the third straight loss for EMU as they close non-conference play.

The Eagles will be back in action Friday, Sept. 24, as they host Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference opener. Game time is slated for 4 p.m. at Scicluna Field.
