Adam Feit Named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Joins the department of athletics from the University of Louisville
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Adam Feit (pronunced FIGHT), an assistant coach for athlete development at the University of Louisville since 2008, has been named the head strength and conditioning coach of the Eastern Michigan University department of athletics. He replaces Mike Szerszen who left the position last month to become a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Cincinnati.
While at Louisville, Feit was responsible for the implementation and nutrition education program for all football players. He also developed and implemented a research based and NCAA compliant nutritional supplement program and assisted with all program design and implementation of the Cardinal football strength and conditioning program.
Prior to joining the Louisville staff, Feit served as a coaching assistant for athletic development at The Citadel in 2007 while taking graduate classes. He was also a sports performance intern at Arizona State.
The the 24-year-old Feit (8-7-85) , is a 2006 graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. where he was an applied exercise science major. He was a member of the Dean's list at Springfield and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his undergraduate career, Feit was a captain of the 2006 Springfield College football team and was nominated for the Collegiate All-American Scholar-Athlete Award in 2004 and 2005.
During his football career, Feit was a Division III first-team All-American and East Region Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2006. He was a first-team Empire 8 All-Conference player as a senior and an honorable mention All-League pick as a junior.
Feit finished his collegiate playhing career at the Division III All-Star Game for Team USA against Team Mexico in the Aztec Bowl.
